Friday

Arrived at Gardemoen Raceway at 3pm and began setting up camp. Did not take long to have the tent up as we had lots of people helping. It was Svein Kåre, Paul, Frode, Stian and Karl Dag. Bigga and Roy Arild arrived when we was finished with the tent. Good laugh.

Also got the car technical ready from the race officials.

Saturday

It is raing today, so we prepare for a long day with just wating. The officials have told us that there is going to be a new drivers meeting at 12AM, so we hope that we will get more information then.

But we have gotten the frame/cage in the Superbird fully FIA certfied, so something has been done. So now it will be possible to run Top Doorslammer with the car.

At 12 AM we was told that the race for today will be canceled if the rain has not stopped at 1pm. As the time is now about 12.30pm now it does not looks promising. So we hope for better weather tomorrow as it has been reported that is should be a lovely day. Sometime later the race was canceled for the day. It was then great to have a beer in reach. 

Sunday

Then came the sun. Better get ready. The drivers meeting is about 09.30AM. Bu we had to wait to 09.45am as the licensing run's was not finished.

After breakfast it was just to dress up in the finest racing suite. I was ready. The we had to warm up the engine. It was decided to start the car inside the tent. Well well i thought I better fetch the gas mask. Great that I did so, because I was the only one that were inside the tent. Behind the wheel. Tested for a while but the engine heat was not as to our liking and we decided that we needed to check some more. So we did not race. We we decided to call it a day and headed home about 3pm.
